L'Esprit Nouveau
The main bar/restaurant at the Paris venue was inspired by Le Courbusier’s quiet L’Esprit Nouveau Pavilion. Though small in size it issued a loud statement of intent at 1925’s International Exposition. This was a new approach to design that favoured purity, simplicity and truth – embracing progress, and heralded the beginning of the modernist age.
We took the strong geometric shapes of Le Courbusier’s creation through the branding elements for the space, complimenting the interior design and the colour palette.
